Here's a couple of photos of the old railway station in west Wales - the line got ripped up in the 1960s, but a fair bit of the station still survives.

On a tangent:

Radio 4 programme today abut ghost buses/trains - the sorts of ones that they run once a week to pretend a railway station is still active. Mentioned Newhaven Marine (?) which is not closed at all but has no trains. Might be worth a look.

There's a film on the BBC site about the 50th anniversary of the closure of train line known as the Cardi Bach. The daft buggers have missed up the title though and called it 'Cardiff Bach'
