Shoot! Existential Photography at the Photographers Gallery, London

Anyone go to this? I liked some of it but I still don't like the Photographers Gallery very much at all.

The Photographers Gallery is a place to be seen, not a place to see art. Its a retail centre for the uncultivated to feel cultivated from what I can see. You d get the odd good exhibition in the past. But the new gallery may as well be a shoe shop.

I used to visit it almost every weekend. I rarely go now and hate what it's turned into.

I'll never forgive them for the way they dumped their long-serving cafe staff either.

I paid the gallery another visit on the weekend. I really liked the Geraldo de Barros work, but still don't like the new gallery.
