Stan could be a great winger but didn't really score as many as he should have done and often went missing in big games or if he got a whack from the full back early doors. Shakespeare on the other hand was unspectacular but did a job, rarely less than a 7 out of ten and could do it on a windy midweek fixture away at Stoke.

Both were writing material based on mythology and works by other writers and marketing towards an audience mostly made up of working class and young people in the penny seats. They both utilised street slang, their own injokes and stupid self-referential names.


No difference between them.

But but but I would say the younger generation, you know those so bloody young they're in their 30s and below, get a lot more enjoyment from Marvel these days.
