Around 9pm I heard some shouting and looked out to see a guy on the floor surrounded by people. Three ambulances turned up on the scene, as well as three police cars.
The guy was on the floor for a long time and it looked like the medics were working on him as he lay there. He was put in an ambulance, which didn't move for some time.
The entire stretch of road outside the Barrier Block is still taped off, and there's two cop cars at one end and a lone cop at the other.
I thought at first it might have been a road accident (although I could see no car involved), but would I be right in thinking that all the tape and police interest mean that this is going to be some sort of serious assault?
