See how much money that useless prick Chris Grayling has wasted

This kind of shit:

Probation unions and criminal justice experts urged him to at least pilot the new approach, so problems could be identified and rectified. But Mr Grayling went for quick, wholesale change.

He wanted the contracts with the private companies firmly in place before the 2015 general election so the system couldn't be undone if there was a change of government.

Should be prohibited, somehow.

If ever brought to the task of explaining these shambles, Grayling would probably blame bad advice from his advisors and civil servants rather than accept his true role ...

This was standard practice for coalition ministers - work fast, break stuff, make it so any future government can't undo it. So while Grayling may seem to have been the face of a number of 'fuck ups', his endurance in post/s and simply demonstrates he was carrying out government policy rather than bearing personal responsibility - cf. Gove at education, Hunt at health: they were doing their jobs.

Justice has lost almost half it's funding since 2010, which is a further prism all of this needs to be seen through.

That’s exactly what they did with rail privatisation too, rushed it through before they were booted from office, sold some of it very cheap to get it off the books.

Kind of funny this makes the news the same day as Labour announcing renationalisation of the National Grid, the Tory press can’t go in too hard on the subject given Grayling is doing just that with probation.

Oh I know, nu-Labour did similar, building in clauses to make it more expensive to cancel shit than to let it run on draining cash from the public purse.

Fucking hell, there needs to be a very violent revolution in this country.

There's no incentive or consequence for his failures, in fact he's probably got a great job to go to with one of the organisations he's giving these contracts to. Yay, all snouts to the trough.
