Proper nice bloke too just a daft spur of the moment decision with the temptation of enough dough to see him living a modest life at sea for a while without the need to work. Now he's educating kids on how easy you can end up doing a 20 stretch.

He was boarded by pirates some place in the south china sea and they gave him some rice and water
(Alas the UK was less welcoming, he got the crap kicked out of him by the boys in blue because he was insufficiently respectful to them on Brighton beach right after the IRA tried to blow up Thatcher)
