I've got mine with diet lemonade cos it's all I've got in the house :D but anything you like I guess that doesn't have a strong flavour of its own :)

Fantastico I'm there.:)

thanks for the top tip aqua.

I will look for that, coz I loves a bit of gin. (or in the case of last night - alot of gin  )

Oohh my head:(

Bit late for sloes innit?

Used to get mine late August in Blighty, early here.

Bastard birds eat the things, and what comes out the other end is never good.

Odd, sloes are effectively inedible, being so full of tannin- but recently I've managed to eat the odd one. Non existant climate change pumping the sugar levels maybe?

Saffron gin sounds ace.

Why am I on a gin thread after last night? It was 60's night and gin/curaçao cocktail was on draft. I am ill.

A mate tagged me in that on Facebook. I don't like marmalade or tonic :D it's never going to be a winner :D

But a bit like gin cake, I'd rather eat a good cake with a gin.

I have some of this - Which makes any gin taste/look violet:

And some of this - Which is lovely, you can taste the heather honey used in the recipe:
