Cinderella were the fucking bomb. Falling Apart at the Seams is still one of my favourite songs. Shame that they released their debut and then Nirvana turned up and noone wanted Glam Blues Metal any more

True story. Back in day my car got broken into and my Enuff Znuff cassette was stolen.

Years later I was browsing the late lamented Beanos record shop in Croydon and my own cassette was in there for a pound. How did I know it was mine? For some reason I'd written my name in the cassette sleeve. I obvs bought it and blasted it all the way home

Takes me back. My denim cut-off was a weird hybrid of Led Zep, Beatles and Hawkwind. The rear had a big psychedelic splodge and in futuristic writing said “Brainstorm Here We Go” plus a patch that said “Hawkwind Into the 80s”
