The thing I remember most about Italian food is how very good it is, and how bad pizza is outside of Italy. It's a shame people don't try more than pizza and pasta.

Been to one of the oddest bars in Rome - the Yellow Bar. There's live bands every night but they play on a really high stage right in front of the bar so only about 10 people can watch from the front. I think the place is open 24 hours too, and there's a mini-mini club downstairs. I like it!

It's a popular capital city and there are many great free sights. grubby; like an old, well worn carpet slipper = great charm.
