Seem to remember reading, in relation to Wilko, that there are two types of pancreatic cancer, one more 'curable' than the other, but I know little about it and am too squeamish to research it. But it turned out he was initially diagnosed with the wrong type. I truly hope he thoroughly enjoyed what he might have regarded as his bonus years. Fucking cancer.
My brother used to try and imitate Wilko's guitar style in his brief trying to get in a band days in his late teens. It was a futile hope. Maybe only Andy Gill succeeded...
