Ned Beatty, Deliverance, Superman and Toy Story 3 actor, dies aged 83

Dubbed the busiest actor in Hollywood, he was also seen in Nashville, Network and many other films.

One of those actors that you were exposed to from a very early age in Superman ("Otisburg? Otisburg?!") , but only later came to appreciate for his other work.

Great character actor , saw him in a Mark Wahlberg film (just looked it up , 2007 ) Shooter, where he played a corrupt senator, it's a nonsense film (which I quite enjoyed ) he was excellent, and Deliverance of course ! And excellent in the Homicide TV series. RIP.
