She was my most regular customer in my last job in the taxi industry. She used to insist on smoking in the cars which was absolutely not allowed for anyone else and is strictly forbidden by the PCO. The drivers were always told if they were stopped by police for having someone smoking in their car to just point out that it was Dot Cotton and hope for the best.

Sad...but what a life. She had some pretty dark storylines in Eastenders back when I used to still watch it and always acted the shit out of them.

The people in my local just got a rescue dog with no name.

They have called it Dotty after June Brown
