For some anniversary of something, there is a sale on rail fares at the moment. I got a cheap ticket to London this weekend. I checked for another journey I’m planning but there were no cheap tickets. It runs from yesterday until 20th January and is valid for travel between 17th January and 31st March. Might be worth checking if you’ve got a journey coming up. I found it on thetrainline.com, not sure if other websites are also doing it. Just a heads up.
