Places to eat in Leeds

I'll cross that off my list!

To be fair, we went because we’d read a lot of good things about it. There‘s a lot of love for the place. I just found the pies and portions small, the pies especially were not fresh as the pastry was slightly tough and our waiter forgot part of our initial order and when we asked for some water they said yes and then just disappeared.

Bab Tooma at the top of Roundhay Rd is really good. Had their hummus as a starter and it was so good. Baked fish main was really nice too. Service was great.

Seriously, check out the food court in Kirkgate. Near the station and lots of choices - Manjits do excellent Indian food, including Thali, tasty Vietnamese banh mi, Turkish mackerel sandwiches, loads more here:

Yeah, the market food is great, Mr. Mackerel is ace! As is the Thali. Bab Tooma is brilliant too, a chain/franchise I think, there used to be a great one in central Bradford but it's closed now.

Bad news for people in Leeds, the Zombies are coming.
