Modestly inspired by Pickman's model's thread on libraries, thought it would be nice to have a thread for one of my other personal favourite spaces: the cinema.

Lots to choose from, but was inspired to start a thread by a memory of the gorgeous 'historical screen' in Vienna's Metro Kinokulturhaus*.

ArtHouse in Crouch End was a new discovery for me at Christmas, been a couple of times since. Over lockdown they added an angel to their front.

The Chinese Theatre in LA. It is still a working cinema and has a small museum. It does look like its pictures. I went there and saw one of Mission Impossible films shot in London, which was weird…
