Lee Japser - I've had several people tell me that the Brixton Project and Hondo have some involvement in this, either financially or in terms of offering support. It seems unlikely to me that you'd want to get involved with either, so I'd be grateful if you could clarify. Thanks.

I bet you never threw stones in 81 or 85 eh posh Lee?

Took a look on Company House at Brixton Splash Ltd the unaudited accounts were amended to 1% of the value of the original 2017 entry.

Am I mixing up the people involved in Splash and Wave, did Wave become the Design Trail when Squire and Partners got invoved and is that now Brixton Project or are they part of Brixton BID? I think I may have missed some of the associated entities?
Any clarification or information about '81 acts appreciated.

Ubele.org says it is helping with £1,000,000 Phoenix fund now closed for applications; Majonzi is with Patrick Vernon on disproportionate effects of Covid on BAME peoples
and a bereavement fund supported by crowd funding -
Ubele seems set up as an umbrella organisation but it is difficult from the website to work out what they are doing beyond Partnering, Catalysing, Influencing and Researching - there doesn't appear to be anyway of applying to benefit from any of the funds they help manage. There is mention across the site of over £20,000,000 available

The Radio Five Live Big Narstie show seemed a bit gross to me.
If they do political interviews they are supposed to have balance.
Where is the balance when you have Sheldon Thomas fantasising about what him and his homies were doing to burn down Brixton and kill the police when he was 16?
Of course he has now found God and founded a charity which rescues young men from burning down inner cities and killing police. I guess graphic details of past riots might not come amiss in attracting funding?
Private Eye used to say Pas the sick bag Alice. In their case they were mocking John Junor, editor of the Daily Express.
Good idea though.

Yes you are mixing up Splash and Wave. Splash had nothing to do with the Design Trail.

Lee Jasper did not participate in either the 1981 or the 1985 disturbances as he had not yet been placed in Brixton at the time of either occurrence.
I wasn't 'placed' anywhere I lived in Moss Side in 81 and was already in London in 85.

BP are a partner and Hondo isn't. Hope that helps. We are happy with BP involvement as are our Brixton community partners with whom their involvement has been actively and extensively discussed.

Which? Is that Ros Griffith's Splash pre 2012, circa 2014/15 Splash, cancelled Splash, or ongoing Brixton Splash Ltd?
Nowhere did I suggest Splash was any thing to do with Brixton Design Trail.

Haven't had a chance to listen to the Podcasts yet, thanks for your review.
