The Be Good Tanya's - Chinatown.

It's a tie with The Darkness's album Permission to Land as to which one is the best of the year so far for me.

Lovely, lovely album. Everyone who thinks they don't like country should give it a listen. Brilliant, it is. :)

After a few people on here have said 'Jane's Addiction - Strays' was good, I decided to pick it up today, and I must say it's damned fine. So that's been on the go, as well as 'Stone Temple Pilots - No 4'.

RATM - Rage Against The Machine
Milloy - Autodrivel

A couple of Sidewinder burn-offs

Slimzee, Dizzee and a whole lot more madness. Some of this music is wickedly insane and reminds me of earlier underground days when things were rougher, messier, dirtier and bassier (?!)

My speakers are bouncing off the wall...just how I like it. :D

A minor criticism: I do wish a couple of the mcs would occasionally shut the fuck up and let the music takeover...

;)

Right back to 1987 for me.

Greatest Hits by Samantha Fox

Life, Love & Pain by Club Nouveau

Collection: You're the Inspiration by Peter Cetera

Judging on the above selection it's wasn't a vintage year. ;):p
I enjoyed revisiting bad music of old.

The Darkness - Permission To Land

Funkadelic - Maggot Brain

Do The Kraut (a home-made Krautrock meets Stereolab comp)

Further Beyond Nashville - a country comp

Mogwai - Happy Songs For Happy People

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The First Born is Dead
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Kicking Against the Pricks
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Good Son

I can't stop playing the Aquasky/Masterblaster remix of Omni Trio's "Renegade Snares" today. Freq Nasty's "Clit Licker" is doing the rounds on the turntables as well...

Haven't found the right time to play the new Mogwai album yet - it's not really something I can put on in the background and do the dishes to :)
