i've been listening to a few radio shows on CDR, recorded from west/north-west London pirate radio - classic UK Garage from 1998-99.

and one of my UK Garage mixes from the same period.

That Tribe called Quest anthology is bloody good, forgotten how good they were 'til I listened to that.
Anyway, I actually came here to post about this album - Putumayo presents African Groove which is described on the sleeve as 'Technology meets tribal beats', Thievery Corporation are on there for example. I loved some of 'The Richest Man In Babylon' so I suppose if you liked that you might like this. Try the labels website for more info.

I have the Drum and Bass Fiesta CD 1 (compiled by DJ Suv) on again - just can't stop listening to it at the mo :D
 
Have you ever heard, born for a purpose, reason for living, by Dr alimantado ?
One of the most outstanding reggae tracks ever to be layed down. At the moment im listening to roots manuva, witness.
