"Big Calm" isnt a bad album, its their second one.

Currently spinning...

Stetsasonic : In Full Gear

Nick Drake - Bryter Later

Beth Orton - Trailer Park

Super Furry Animals - Guerrilla

My favourite track on 'Guerrilla' is the hidden track 'Citizen's Band'.
It's hidden at the beginning - put on the first track then rewind from 00:00 into negative figures.

it's emo time in crystal palace:

Taking Back Sunday - played this album so many times and still hear new things every time. A classic.

The Cramps - The Fiend Of Dope Island

Hank Williams Greatest Hits - Double Compilation

Mogwai - Happy Songs For Happy People

Sean Paul - Dutty Rock

Zion Train - home-made mix compilation

The white stripes - elephant
Polyphonic spree - the beginning stages of the polyphonic spree
huggy bear - the rough with the smooch (anyone remember riot grrrl)
and a new velvet underground compilation

Yabby You-Jesus Dread
Peanutbutter Wolf-My Vinyl Weighs a Ton
DJ Dara-From Here to There
Dave Clarke-World Service (Electro Mix)
Renegade Continuum-The Only Thing Constant is Change
Jeru the Damaja-The Sun Rises in the East
Metalheadz-Platinum Breaks

Rush and Optical - The Creeps
Garbage - Garbage

mucous membrane- DJ Dara is one of my fave D&B DJs, you ever seen one of his sets live?

Bond, I have seen DJ Dara live. The only good DJ's that pass through my town tend to be drum and bass ones. Dara, DB, Ed Rush and Optical, and Tech Itch would probably be the best ones I've seen. It seems as though Dara is here three or four times a year.

On the cd player today:

Hexstatic-Listen and Learn
Hallucinogen in Dub
Plug-Ep's 1,2, and 3
DJ Krush-Message at the Depth
Bonobo-Dial M for Monkey

Mucous membrane yeah I've seen Rush and Optical a few times live here, though not yet had the chance to see Dara in action. I hopefully he'll play in London some time before the end of the summer.

Haven't seen him live, but have a DJ set of his - Full Circle - and very good it is, too.

:)

Spinning so far today:

From Mixmag: Fergie's Funky Techno mix
Not *that* funky, imho, but nice nonetheless, especially like the track from Cave - Circus.

Billy Nasty - BN01 (Techno mix)

DJ Food - Refried Food
