Police statement The Metropolitan Police told the BBC: "A male on a pedal cycle attempted to enter the security bubble around the torchbearer. The Met's torch security team prevented him from gaining access to the torchbearer and the male fell of his bike. He immediately got back on his bike and left."
i did not look like he fell more was grabbed by a cop and thrown to the ground,

I guess "a boy was riding a bike (in the road) further away from the torch than many of the pedestrians, so we dragged him across the road and threw him to the ground in front of a car" wouldn't sound so justifiable.
