image.jpg Back in NZ after a three year absence and really realising how much I love this place!
Sunset over South Bay, Kiakura.
Went up the coast earlier to a local waterfall and there were seal pups playing in the stream,
Taking the GG nephew whale watching tomorrow, little sods blown away with this place, as was No 1 grandbairn a few years back.

Great I love Kaikoura. If your interested there is a star watching tour which is cheap as chips and is run by astronomy students from Cant. university (if it turns out cloudy they don't charge) well interesting.Have fun with fam.

Aye. Looked it up but to cloudy for our time here,
But the cloudy dolphins show well made it up for it, the sperm whale was, as usual, predictable, but out of this world to those who haven't seen humpbacks or greys, the bairns expression when the whale flicked its tail before diving;) and the dusky dolphins put on their usually acrobatic display
Hokitika the morn, then back over Arthur's pass, hoping to see the Keass buggering the rubbers on the cars parked there:)
