NEW SPONSOR PICFAIR - VOTE FOR THE 17/18 HOME KIT

Which kit do you prefer? (Totally unofficial poll)

  • Total voters
    80
No it doesn't, it suggests it may be of interest to people that are interested in DHFC.
Ok...a bit of both. It suggests it might be of interest to some Dulwich Hamlet fans. But it also could be interpreted by some as being endorsed by Dulwich Hamlet Football Club. Which it's clearly not, as it's not our official one, whatever that is, as I don't do Twitter.

But we must uphold the sanctity of the ballot box!
Otherwise we could have masked gangs of sashists intimidating voters.

Who was that actress girl who would 'scweam and scweam and scweam' if she didn't get her own way on 'Just William'...reminds me of someone! ;)

Or as people seem to use when moaning about my opinions on here:

I assume if it was fixed the club would have just said .......... this is the kit for next year like it or lump it and not given the fans a choice in the first place.
I've never suggested it was fixed. I would have preferred a more transparent vote, that's all. I'm curious how many people voted. Seems a reasonable enough thing to say.

Anyway, I've no problems at all accepting the result and very much look forward to seeing Hamlet sashay out on to the field with the Hen Night/Ambassador's Parties look :D

We've had better kits down the years...we've had worse.

It's all about opinions...and my opinion is...as long as it's Pink & Blue and resembles a relatively normal type of kit then I'm happy with it.

But then I would be, as one who voted for the diagonal stripe... ;)

Not sure why we need the number on the front as well, but it does at least add a soupçon more of the much needed pink so that's fine by me.

And may I say - not in a shy way - that I've always hated that bloody awful extra-cheesy font that displays the words 'The Hamlet'.
It was requested by at least two photographers from the local no-league circuit, on things they would like on kits. And more than one fan mentioned it too, I understand.

The sash shirt, now with the added number, is starting to slowly resemble a Hackett-esque top from the very late 90s to very early 00s worn by firm handed looking blokes wearing Davidoff Cool Water*
Maybe we can come out to some 1-step-2-step UK Garage next season.

Hitler will be turning in his grave.

*not that there was anything particularly wrong with Davidoff Cool Water.

I didn't realise two photographers held such sway over kit design.
They don't...they made a suggestion, along with other people, which was thought by the powers that be at the Club worth incorporating into the general design.

Let it go...it's done!

Not a fan of "The Hamlet" on the shirts (because of the typeface) either.

Nice new design, but tbh I don't think it needed changing.

The reason for the sleeves, I understand, is that you need the same colour 'undergarments' and if someone is wearing a pink OR blue undergarment you could quite easily get a pedantic referee ordering a player off to take off the undergarment.

To be honest, if the Club is still set up the way it is...I think the best way forward is just to get the Club to change the kit. Try to interact with fans and it causes far too much unnecessary grief, from both sides, in my humble opinion.

Oh for my six numbers to all come up in the same week...
