New Sparks Documentary

Leos Carax has won the best director prize at Cannes for Annette.
Saw Annette earlier. It's extremely random but the cast plays it straight. If there's one thing you can say about Carax, it's that he's never dull which is a damn sight more than you can say for most of his contemporaries.

Adam Driver's comedian is absolutely shit, even at the beginning when he's meant to be good and the audience is going wild. It's also got the most disturbing baby since who knows when.

Lyrics are brilliant
'and when the stewardess is near , do not show any fear'

I used to play this ( below ) constantly when a little merry and people were around the house late and my daughters and son would just cringe

New to the forum, not new to Sparks (50 years and counting), but I'm still finding more depth and ingenuity to the lyrics. I'd sung the the words to This Town for decades without ever realising how clever they were. Lots of Sparks lyrics are about feeling inadequate and scared of girls. Each verse of it is split in two. The first 2 lines are about bravado of the chase, the second 2 are about the fear in actually trying
