National Express - pre buy tickets or on the day

Hi, does anyone know if there's a price difference between buying a coach ticket online and in person on the day? The site wants me to print off the ticket and I don't have a printer, or pay extra money to pick the ticket up. It's an airport coach if that makes any difference. Thanks!

It's usually more expensive the later you book it, although the airport coach is more likely to have a fixed price

added complication is tickets on the day will only be sold if there's seats available for your whole journey (i.e. even if there are spare seats at the stop you get on, if they are booked from the next stop, they won't sell you a ticket for that departure)

coaches generally can't take standing passengers.

depends if waiting for the next coach is practical.

Airport ones are generally okay.

Lose your pre-booked ticket at Victoria Coach Station and buy one on the day well that another matter. I ended up paying more than a train ticket would have cost me. But I couldn't be arsed to track across London to Paddington.
