Btw, I was watching the last episode of series 3 of the Soprano's recently. A couple of Italian youngsters are walking down a corridor in what turns out to be 'the projects', one knocks on the door at the end of the row, the door opens . . . . and fucking Omar's at home !

I know. I said that in season 2 ;) Not as in your face as this was though.

Fwiw, Bodie climbs up to drive a hijacked truck and drops his gun. I think there's another Wire person somewhere, but who it is escapes me at the mo . . .

In it as Bodie?

A quick look through their IMDb profiles show that nearly all of them have been in OZ and various Law&Order cash cows. Not as their Wire characters though.

I think the good Detective Munch from Homicide still owns the crown for most different serieses (what is the plural for series?) starred in as the same character.
 
Not as Bodie - but he might as well have been. There's some typecasting going on with these dramas :D

Practically everyone in Oz turns up in the Wire.
 
And they've all been in Law and Order as well, not that I know what that is but the IMDB lists actors previous experience.
