Mince pie season is upon us and I’ve kicked off with these bad boys from the Coop.

Bought two packs from Marks yesterday. Not had any yet though.

Still got some xmas puds I bought reduced to clear last year.

I like the Sainsbury's bakery mince pies. They used to do them through most of the year, but now it seems only coming up to Xmas. I haven't seen them yet.

I'm pretty good and these days refrain from buying any in. My lad normally breaks first and drops a pack in though. Mainly as a reminder that I need to start baking.

I still have a couple of pots of last years mincemeat, but the oven don't go on til December!

I think you'll find its mince pie season all year round. Shame the shops only stock them for a few months.

These are well tasty, Don’t muck about, get to Waitrose and treat yourself.

Top tier mince pies. I don’t think these will be beaten.

They do look lovely but I can't help feeling that they've stretched the definition of a mince pie a tad too far...

I thought the same in the shop…but then i got home and scoffed them. They’re mince pies for sure.
