Turned the telly on earlier to hear Johnson saying something along the lines of 'sprinters analyse the race as it goes on. I was such a great athlete and that's why I'm such a great analyst'. Of course it's true - he was a great athlete (the best track and field person of his day?) and he is a great commentator. It just seemed slightly odd to hear sombody so thoughtful coming straight out with it. Maybe I'm expecting him to be an honorary Brit..
Even at the end he's still being brilliant. Just commenting on the track that it's very hard, which is great for sprinters but brutal of distance runners.
