Low level digging noise in the Dalberg and Mervan Road Area?

I can hear a low level and mechanical sounding digging noise, going off intermittently. This has gone on for at least a week now and starts early in the morning and can continue until late in the evening. Anyone aware of any works in the area that might be the cause?
