There's an ongoing public consultation on London Power Cables plans to build two tunnel heads and substations at the Bengeworth Road site in LJ. This will connect the tunnels to the new power routes from SE London to Wimbledon.
The construction traffic will see up to 120 HGVs per day, driving down Cambria Road, Southwell Road, Harbour Rd and Padfield Road.
