To cut a long story short, the place I work for had 2 toshiba laptops stolen yesterday morning.

I realise that the chance of getting 'em back is tiny.

But

Which localish shops should I be asking if they've had two toshiba laptops in for sale.

I've tried Cash Converters in Lewisham, and ebay, and gumtree, but where else should I be looking.

Computer fairs? I know that there's one on weekends in Fitzrovia that they flyer for liberally on Tottenham Ct. Rd. Bit of a long shot, but if I was a dodgy fucker who didn't want to get caught that's where I'd go to sell 'em.

I really would not bother at all. I have a vague idea that the serial numbers of stolen laptops may get circulated to shops, though... might have dreamt that.
