New programme on Channel 4. Mondays at 8.30, starts tonight. I haven't seen this, so I have no idea what it's like, and have mixed feelings about Jamie Oliver, but a veggie cookery series is always welcome as they are quite rare. The last one I remember was HFWs which was quite a few years ago now. Hopefully it will encourage more people to try cooking without meat.

I can confirm that it's not just vegans who hate him.

I would guess that hatred of JO is one of the few things that could unite vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, carnists (fragile or otherwise) and those weirdoes who allegedly live on just fresh air

Fair play to him the day he walked onto the pitch at Millmoor at halftime, a couple of weeks after calling everyone in Rotherham a fat bastard.
It was a very response from the crowd.

Just watched it. If you can get over Jamie's annoying persona, and his relentless bigging up of his own meals, there are some good recipes. Also they are detailed enough so you could follow them without having to buy the book.
