Jam, jelly or Marmalade? Difference?

I’m trying strawberry jam for the first time and have no meths to do the pectin test so I’m hoping I’ve added enough lemon juice and innards for it to set

and it’s now in jars. I’m thinking i may have been a bit heavy on the lemon. I have some slightly stale white bread I can toast in the morning to test it with.

You should test jam while it's warm! (and then again when it's cold obviously)

I finally found time yesterday to make this year's blackcurrant jam from my blackcurrant bush. Blackcurrants were bigger and juicier as I'd left it a couple of weeks later than usual but only just a kilo so a disappointing crop. The jam is okay but very tart. Managed three jars, should last me a while.
