International Pizza Punk Day

Rob Ray

Weight is meaningless
Hi all, so I was thinking about possible slightly alternative articles to write for around the Christmas holiday period for Freedom and came across this which reckons International Pizza Punk Day (still done in at least one radical housing co-op that I know of) got started in 1997. Which'd make it a good time to do a 20th anniversary piece on it.

So I was wondering, does anybody know much about its origins beyond that article, and does anyone have any good related stories?

Edit: Wasn't sure where to put this, it's kind of history but maybe better in the Christmas forum?

I've never heard of it, but liking pizzas, punk and anarchism I clicked the link. How does one go about "preparing vegan pizzas according to anarchist principles"?

Clicked on the freedom link and the first article distracted me completely. It's about the son of an undercover cop whose undercover name was " Bob Robinson (not much imagination there)..he bandoned his son once his job was done and the son is now suing the police force.
