What films would you recommend for my daughter who likes stuff like Ice Age and Toy Story?

Over the Hedge, Robots, A bugs life, Monsters inc and Nemo are all very entertaining my Son loves all these films and we put a DVD on his TV for him before he goes to sleep at night.

Monsters inc and Flushed Away are the favourites with my girls. :) The adults love em just as much too :D

This is ridiculous, sorry. I can only assume most of you don't have daughters. Films are a teaching medium for children.

Half the answers here are nothing but a blockusters top 10 rentals.

This too!

(Great for adults as well, but not in that annoying nudge nudge, wink wink way.)

Yeah, they don't treat kids like idiots. I also like that there are never any baddies for baddies sake. Everyone has a reason for doing what they do, just like in the real world.

If you want to go to the cinema now try How To Train Your Dragon 3D. It's very good, but you do need a child with you. :D

I have a daughter. I choose the films she enjoyed that are like the ones in the op. The ops films were light hollywood fare that had already been enjoyed by his daughter. Ice Age is utter crap but the question wasn't "Tell me what films my daughter should or should not be watching".

She might be a little young but my daughter loved The secret of moonacre, it's based on the book The Little White Horse which we love.

Do we know how old she is? :hmm:

She is 5. I have a selection on the torrent now. Robot's, Ice Age 3, Madagascar 2, Up and Kung Fu Panda.

I shall stick that lot on DVD and send them over she should like them. Do you know what her favorite program is? Futurama!!! Brilliant she's her daddies girl. Proud of that :D

5, hmm, she might be too young for how to train your dragon then. Good film though. :)

Our 11 year old has recommended "The Da Vinci Code". I'm not sure he was being serious though. :hmm:
