This film seems to be getting amazing reviews right across the board. Jam packed with hilarious, creative and innovative entertainment for it's entire runtime.

I don't want to piss on it before I've seen it, but surely if it is five star solid cinematic gold from beginning to end, why is every single second of what they have put in the trailer an absolute load if shit?

So having never heard of it, I watched the first 30 minutes or so at a friend's place in Spain at Easter. (It was on some streaming service or other.) We were a bit :hmm: and gave up as we didn't think it was very good.(Maybe it improves but I don't think I'll be bothering to find out.)

To be honest I was mostly interested in the production more than the actual movie. Although a live action old school cartoon sounds interesting.

Seen the trailer a few times

Think I’d rather just watch Buster Keaton tbh, he’s the master at this sort of thing

What's this, ATOMIC SUPLEX sounding vaguely positive about something?

Ah, there we are. Normal service resumed. Thought I'd fell into a parallel universe there for a minute.

They're playing it at the local cinema next Thursday. Might consider. Apparently 3 people are going and 12 are interested.

Edit having watched the trailer I don't think I'd be able to convince the wife or bear the complaining afterwards.
