Huge landslip into the sea at Seatown, Dorset

You wouldn't want to be caught walking under this!

There has been a large landslip overnight at Seatown, Dorset
Please remember that if you are visiting the coast and walking the coast path, stay away from cliff edges and don't sit at the base of the cliffs.
Cliff falls are a greater risk due to the recent dry weather.

There'll be loads of fossils uncovered by that Seatown slip. Looking for them would be very risky though

Yep a big chunk of beach is signposted as as off limits east of Sidmouth.

Grockles still ignore the signs of course. They probably think the free travel insurance they got with the hire purchase deal on their Nissan Qashqai covers getting hit on the head with a thousand tons of rock.

e2a: There's only really one place you can access this beach because you have to cross a river to get there. There are very clear signs at this point.

There's also loads of non-lethal beach in Sidmouth you can go to.

Some of that coast has been 'out of bounds' for years hasn't it - it's on the west side of Sidmouth innit..
