If two sim's could share the same number/account I'd definitely have a second phone on me for calls and use the smartphone for data. This is basically the same idea, but with one sim and NFC. It's not an entirely bad idea, but I'd still rather have two sims on the same account/number as the mini-phone still ultimately relies on the battery power of the smart phone holding out.
