Since neither of those are available or cheap. Crazy world.
I'm sure it is, if you know what you're doingI don't know what the specs are for a PS5. I think it might be difficult to compare.
But look here for a range of different set ups.

Building your own PC is a piece of piss BTW.
It doesn't cost anything and is a learning tool with example builds etc.I'm sure it is, if you know what you're doing. Sadly I don't and don't really trust myself to do so.

How the PS5's Specs Compare to a High-End PC
While a PS5 and a PC have a lot of differences, it'd be interesting to build a PC that could trade blows with Sony's latest and greatest.gamerant.com
A PS5 can cost as much as $500 while the proposed PC build can cost up to, if not more than, $1600.
You can't outbuild Sony cheaply. They have a huge economy of scale advantage.
You can build a nice PC for $500 but it won't match the PS5 for high end gaming spec.
Ah well, that answers that then.![]()

I just fancied playing Mortal Kombat 1. Can't really afford a console, and certainly not for one game.More then a PS5. I'd look at company like PC Specialist if you don't feel comfortable building as they will use off the shelf parts, which will make your life easier in future.
What are you planning on spending and what resolution do you want to play at?

My internet can't cope with anything like that tbh.You can stream some PC games if you've got decent Internet, but sadly this doesn't look to be on any of these platforms such as Geforce Now.
You can rent a gaming PC in the cloud with a service like Shadow PC, but that costs more.
I've used Geforce now and it was great, but limited games got me to buy a GPU. I belive ruffneck23 has experience.

Sure, for £500 odd. Sadly the price isn't going to drop anytime in the foreseeable, which is too badAmazon says they'll deliver one tomorrow when I checked just now
Still not cheap tho, but cheaper than a gaming PC innit

Has less storage, can't do 4k most of the time and has no disk drive. But only costs £250. I have been pretty happy with mine.No its the same gen, but a lower powered one they made to sell more cheaply.

Interesting. I had an xbox during the pandemic. I thought it was the series S. I've no idea, can't remember. Pretty sure I bought it prior to the release of the X.No its the same gen, but a lower powered one they made to sell more cheaply.
wait, it's digital only? Hard pass for me then, sadlyHas less storage, can't do 4k most of the time and has no disk drive. But only costs £250. I have been pretty happy with mine.
Well starfield is not comming out on PlayStation anyway.Interesting. I had an xbox during the pandemic. I thought it was the series S. I've no idea, can't remember. Pretty sure I bought it prior to the release of the X.
Maybe I could trade up my ps4 pro. Can't really justify spending big bucks for MK1, although I did enjoy state of decay, and there's Starfield. But the issue for me was that installing a game meant simultaneously installing the update which meant having to download tens of gb of data simultaneously. It just isn't practical for me as I'm still on ADSL and it takes about an hour for 2gb, if I'm lucky.
Could look into it I guess, thanks
Yep digital only I'm afraidwait, it's digital only? Hard pass for me then, sadly
I know.Well starfield is not comming out on PlayStation anyway.
That's too bad. I can't upgrade my internet. Don't have the money. I imagine the games I'd be playing witll be pretty huge.Yep digital only I'm afraid
Yeah, I can't justify that for just a couple of games. Plus I'd only be shit at MK1 anyway and complain the game sucksPS5 is available, btw. Not cheap, though.
My local Argos has them in now for £479.99
