Singapore and Malaysia get bad smog from the burning of rainforests in Indonesia. Does it reach as far as Hong Kong . If not, where does it come from (just curious), China?

yep - I have never ever seen blue sky in China.

I saw plenty of blue sky in China. Granted there are fewer clear days in the big cities, but I never saw smog in the countryside.

TBH not being able to see Dongguan or Shenzhen isn't really a bad thing.

I dont think its too bad today, grey skies but from where I am on the island I can see right to the mountains behind Kowloon. sometimes its hard to see much past the kowloon waterfront.

TBH not being able to see Dongguan or Shenzhen isn't really a bad thing.

When people ask me what that part of the world is like, I always say, like Park Royal industrial estate, but much bigger and with more pollution.

Well I have returned, was supposed to meet Yossarian out there didn't make it as I had to detour via A&E, its a dangerous place to go out for a quiet bev
Met some peeps, finally started heading back to the hotel round 11 am on Sat - utterly twatted, decided to fall down some stairs.....not a good idea

Anyway, it did seem hard to see any distance, even after just 4 days got a cough going...... mad place, hope to be heading back fairly soon....well after enough time for the knee swelling and headwound to repair........
