Holiday accom North Norfolk

Want to treat my GF for a weekend up there.

Someone told me that it can be one of the most expensive areas of the country for B&Bs etc, and after having a look myself it seems that could be true, with a double room in a run of the mill b&B going for well over £100p/n.

I'm looking to book around the end of August which doesn't help.

Has anyone done similar or have any advice recommendations please?

i've done a lot of camping between Cromer and Hunstanton, which is a very beautiful area, but I guess you want solid walls?

would consider "glamping" but not camping, it's for a birthday after all.

plus looking more towards central area of north norfolk, rather than west.

moody My Mum lives near Holt so I know the area well (but of course means I stay with her).

Have you tried AirBnB? Options like this:

You’ll probably need a car, although the Coasthopper bus is good in the summer.

that one is full until the end of september but we just looked at a very similar shed type place, built out of flint...
