Hoagy Carmichael Stardust

I’m trying to find a particular recording of this. Would anyone know which old film this was sung in, and by whom. My brother remembers it as being a film about a woman who gave up her child and then found her later. And that the song was sung by a woman in a bar. I can’t find what it might be and think he may have misremembered.
Otherwise could anyone recommend a recording. Classic female vocalist, Not Doris or Ella or anything new.
Many thanks.

Thanks Lazy Llama and platinumsage, for the suggestion of looking on IMDb. I can’t find anything obvious there, and doesnt matter hugely. We’re just choosing some music for our mothers funeral and trying to think of things she would have liked. And she would be most miffed if we got the right song but the wrong arrangement. It’s unfortunate we both live a distance from her and so can’t conveniently have a rummage through her music collection. But there are lots of other tunes. It’s all ok.
danny la rouge that artie Shaw version is lovely; I’ll try to persuade my brother to go with instrumental. Thanks.
