I mostly listen to 6music but am becoming frustrated at the poor broadcast quality.

Can people recommend any decent internet radio that is broadcast better quality /hd?

You like your old audio gear. I'd look at a Chromecast Audio. They don't make them any more, so it would have to be ebay, but makes it really easy to cast from your phone to old audio kit which was made before Bluetooth was even a thing.

You can even pair them up for multi room audio.

yeah my new amp and speaker combo is really showing the low res broadcast of dab radio.

found out that all bbc dab radio can be streamed in HQ through VLC media player, simply download vlc, goto streams and paste http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/.../uk/sbr_high/ak/bbc_6music.m3u8
I'm now listening to 6music in CD quality!

all the other bbc stations can be streamed in 320kbs too.
