So I've been becoming more interested in underwater photography, and have mentioned this on a dive forum, and I've been approached by someone who's had to give up diving and is proposing I swap my old camera and lens for his diving camera and set up, so I'm trying to work out and price up what my old kit is worth vs his, but my old camera and lens is on long term load to a friend, and I can't remember exactly what it is off the top of my head.
So the camera body is a Nikon D200, and the lens is a 24-70 f2.8 AF-S, but beyond that I can't work out exactly what model it would be, because when I google I find them from £500, to over £1k, but they've got slightly different codes at the end.
Anyone got any ideas?
The swap off is my D200, and the lens plus £500 in exchange for and Nikon D300, Ikelight 200FL Underwater housing, Ikelight DS125 Strobe, Ikelight DS160 strobe and a Tokin 10-17 fisheye lens and all the gubbins to make it all work. I think its a good deal (and he'll let me test it on a dive first), but could do with a bit of a sanity check.
