Help me plan my itinerary

Also into micromanaging a few travel arrangements, I see that often your services are changed or just don't happen. Bearing in mind I arrive three weeks post brexit do you have any advice for this bit of journey.

Probably get through customs about 9pm on easter Sunday and need to get to a hotel in earls court. Was thinking train in from Heathrow and tube.

Then Easter Monday around 4pm gotta get from Victoria to either Elmer's end or Beckenham junction. Or Bromley south.. was just gonna use tube and train

You can get the tube (Picadilly Line) directly from Heathrow to Earls Court. I'd do that.

Thank you :) can't use the planner yet as it only goes up to march. I just wanted to make sure services arent different on a bank holiday weekend. I'll check again with the planner in a month

Any UK telco is supposed to provide ‘no extra cost’ roaming in all other EU countries, but a Three PAYG SIM would work in all EU countries irrespective of what telecommunication car crash brexit results in after 29 March. The only catch is that you might have to order the SIM ahead of time and have it sent to a UK address (I don’t recall recently seeing their SIM cards on sale with others in supermarkets, etc) - I’m not sure if you can buy the PAYG SIM cards from their high street shops.

Thank you, and I'd need to get similar in each different European country?

Or do roaming charges cover this?
No, by roaming charges I mean charges while you're in other European countries.

For example 3uk have something called 'go roam' which means you can pretty much use your phone as if you were in the UK, in most of Europe

Go Roam | Roaming free of charge in 71 destinations | Three

That said, I don't know how easy it is to get one of their sim only plans on the spot if you're not resident here. There might be other sim deals that are more aimed at your scenario.

Shouldn't be necessary to get a different one for each country though.

I wouldn't worry too much within London. Worst case scenario is usually just that you have to take a slightly longer route than normal. If you're travelling more widely in the UK by train then it's definitely a good idea to check things are running on bank holidays etc.

It should provide for use of (almost) all the minutes/texts/data you purchase in the UK plus Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland (PAYG EU limit is 15GB per month). Just make sure you pick a PAYG SIM package that offers ‘Go Roam’. You can also use the allowance in Oz too (and another 34 non-EU countries). Supposedly one can only roam in a Go Roam country for up to 30 days at a time (perhaps then one has to return to the home, UK, network before using it abroad again for up to 30 days, maybe - have never tested it).

Yep 30 days which is enough, plus I also ordered an eight day one for Thailand. Sorted, thank you! :) three is all set up to post them to Aus as well

Just a few days in London by train. But a lot of rail in Europe and using eurorail pass for that and have already booked and paid for all the major trips from city to city :)

This. The Heathrow Express is a massive rip off (and you'd need to change at Paddington to get to Earls Court).

Taking the Piccadilly Line is cheaper, easier and probably not massively slower when you take the changing trains thing into account. (The HE is also only every 15 mins whereas the tube is more frequent.)
