Help for those who can't bloody sleep in a tent

I love the way a bit of cotton can feel like a room.
I pay a weight premium to have a cotton inner.
My summer tent is also exceptionally well ventilated.

Fookin' luxury . I do cycle camping so I have ultralight kit. My tent is single-skinned. And I used to sleep on a 1" thick Thermarest until they invented the brilliant NeoAir which is 2.5" but weighs 1lb. My special treat is a 200g espresso maker.

Totally this.
It's your own little world.
I feel really calm in a tent.
And obviously raining is not good over all when camping but the ideal is, you have turned in for the night, all snuggled up, and you hear a light rain on the canvas to send you off to a dreamful sleep.
Wake up in the morning with nothing more than a light dew on the grass that dries off in the sun :) :) :) :)

Our tent is good in that respect - it has two 'bedrooms' and a central section (where you can keep lots of your crap rather than next to your sleeping space), and it's tall enough to stand up in, so it's definitely significantly better than the festy tents of old
