Green Street

I only saw it once, a long time ago, but I seem to remember The Firm being proper shit as well...

Nah, that was really good. Good old Alan Clarke. Terrific performances from Gary Oldman, Phil Davis and Lesley Manville. And a brief appearance from the actor who plays Phil Mitchell off of Eastenders

I saw one of the Green Street films once, I think it was the first one. Not my choice.

I remember little about it except being incredibly bored and watching some old dude smoking cannabis. Oh and some lacklustre fights. It was all so mundane, where was the escapism, the fantasy, the speculation? What was the point?

I (re) watched this today while working from home, having caught a little bit of The Football Factory on TV last night.

Google tells me the actor playing the leader is a Geordie? What the fuck with the accent? I'd assumed he was Dutch or South African:D

I might have to watch this again. I thought it was a piss take when i first watched it about 10 years ago.

Turns out Americans really love it and it has some good reviews on the interweb. :D

Just watched this on Netflix after first watching it many years ago. It's so utterly bad, but just so watchable. I love shit films that are so ridiculous. I'm trying to remember the specific shit bits that are funny but they have blended into one.

Kind of have a soft spot for Bovver though.

It's like Sponge Bob meets Football Factory.
