Government to ban mass gatherings, give police extras powers

Oh yeah. Make the old bill responsible for leading on a medical response to paper over the cracks in an underfunded NHS. Coppers can diagnose a complex interaction of symptoms based on a half hour PowerPoint presentation and police cells are the ideal place to safely make clinical interventions. Why wouldn’t this model work for COVID 19? After all, it works so well for mental ill health....

These are the same coppers who think that putting someone face down on the ground and having three fat bastards sit on their head and ribcage is a safe and proportionate restraint technique right?

Something like 20% of coppers are on indefinite sick leave at the best of times, with stubbed toes and hurt feelings and lingering anxiety about the professional misconduct hearing that's been pencilled in for November 2038. Some decisions will have to be made about which restrictions can realistically be enforced with limited, and shit, police manpower. This raises the prospect of monstrous and arbitrary penalties for a handful of people who get caught doing what everyone else is also doing.

There's no substitute for the social cohesion which governments have spent the last forty years actively destroying.

loads of emails about the plan is well in hand:hmm: but no detail
non-alcohol hand cleaner dispensers have gone up in staff areas and that's about it.
The residents are convinced they are going to get out there going to be disappointed :D.
F wing where historical sex cases are is probably going to become a morgue unlucky if you self identified as vulnerable ( basically got into debt on a normal wing then act like a hard man when you get to the vulnerable prisoner wing:D)
on the plus side plenty of PP Peter Ball, former C of E bishop jailed for sexual abuse, dies at 87 staff were heartbroken at this guys passing as he was in hospital so bed watches were on overtime £22 an hour although he was a deeply unpleasant character but overtime

He won't be missed

The easy overtime will be though!

Theres one sex offender threw himself down the stairs to avoid a transfer ended up paralised from the neck down!.
Is in hospital but as he's a prisoner has to be guarded so officer has to attend hospital check he hasn't escaped then 12 hours Netflix in the lounge, total 14 hour shift cost over £300 grand so far in overtime alone!
Joke is governor is trying to figure out how to have him killed:).

Maybe a whole train carries twice that but not just one carriage. Either way you still have a point as crowds of people will be waiting on platforms, touching escalator handrails, etc.

looked into this, a number of the main lines in rush hour carry 1000 people.

According to the BBC he died after a fall at home in June 2019 and had been released on licence in 2017.
Peter Ball: Sex offender bishop died after falls at home
is the correct c of e nonce
May have got the name wrong but it was an obese ex c of e priest child abuser who'd been in hospital for months and only contribution was to prison officers wallets can't be bothered to find the correct name it's not important.
Git was treated with humanity and professionalism by the NHS and the prison service as was his right till the end.
Still a disgusting creature.
