Furniture Reupholstery

Get a second hand one off ebay, you get really good sofas going for a song.

Re-upholstery is going to be very expensive.

If you do go the ebay route, watch for sellers with dogs, their furniture can really stink.

:hmm: The whole point is that we want to keep what we have. I'm happy to pay for good work.

This is just wrong... Upholstery can be very reasonable. And it's environmentally friendly - one of spy's main concerns.

In fact your post has made me very angry. I'm foaming at at the mouth.

Cheers cunts. You were as much use as a chocolate teapot.

We've found a geezer in Wood Green who reckons he's an erstwhile crafstman. Eight hundred labour and 600 fabric and costs. He reckons it's 2 weeks work and we'll get it back by xmas.

The bloke's on 300 a week (off me) plus what he can shade off the fabric. I'll drop him a 3er if he does this well.

I'd love to learn how to do upholstery, it seems like something I'd be able to turn my hand to. I've done dining chair seats before, a sofa is a slightly different game though :D

Must be a fancy sofa to splash that kind of cash on it.
