Freeform - new Apple app

So a new app turned up on my phone after the last update. I’ve looked up what it can do, and as much as my attention span allowed I can see what it can do. What I’m at a loss for is why I would.

Now, maybe it’ll turn out to be invaluable to me in ways I hadn’t anticipated. But can anyone enlighten me as to why I’d want to doodle or drag and resize photos on it?

Can't personally see the use in it either unless I work in a team that does visual 'brainstorming' and we all have ipads and stuff
