As I said. Electric heating, but slightly more efficient electric heating.
It's a bit like CHP - run a petrol engine in your shed to generate electricity, but make sure you use the waste heat from the engine too.

A friend of mine has been trying to freeze the ground below his factory for years. He still hasn't succeeded but he's getting cheap heat as a byproduct.
